Hey! We won!!!!!!! Matty pitched a hell of a game and our offense EXPLODED. That's just what we needed. Youk had a great game and we still haven't stopped picking on him for that bad swing before he hit the homer. I got my comp back. I should have bought a new one but I'm attatched to it. NO MORE FOOTBALLS NEAR IT! Glad to see some of our old boys doing well (not against us, of corse!) Johnny with his slam and Rent extending his hitting streak. Ya, I'm watching Nesn. I'm all dressed, ready to head out but waiting around to see if anyone wants to go out. Let me know, guys! Broken computers and stuff
Hey! I haven't updated in forever. Youk and I were throwing the football around in the hotel last week and I broke my comp. It was my fault, I shoulda caught it. Youk just laughed hysterically because it was the easiest throw too. We drank a lot the night before so I'm blaming it on that. So I've been pushed back to Sunday's start with the rain out. I'm fine about it, it'll give me some extra time to prepare PLUS I won't have to face the Jays. Talk about some ass kickers there. Becks is up tonight and I know he'll be beating some ass. I was thinking about finding my own place, just a little unsure since I have one lined up in Pawtucket. We'll see. I thought I'd be down there by now, but no complaints:-) I really enjoy living with Youk and his chick, but I feel like maybe I'm almost imposing even though I'm not. Ya know what I'm trying to say? I told Sam she should move up here but she doesn't want to leave her job. It would be nice to see her more than once every two weeks. Damn I miss her a lot. It's been a few days
so I decided to update! Not much really going on, just excited I get to start tomorrow. I'm chillin' in the clubhouse, just finished my side session and everyone else is busy. Youk and I were gonna play some poker but he decided he was gonna take a nap instead. We all got in pretty late last night or early this morning- whatever you wanna call it. Tonight is gonna be an early one for me, so no one bother me after the game! Thankfully Youk's chick is here so Youk will be pre-occupied. I hope. I'll have to call her and make sure she keeps him... busy. He's been pretty chill the last few nights so I'm waiting for him to go nuts soon. Toronto is always a fun place to go to, just a different atmoshphere and all. I walked around town earlier with some of the guys. Papel wouldn't stop talking about how much he missed Stern :P We all miss him, but he'll be back soon I'm sure. Oh looks like someone woke Youk up. Guess I'm gonna steal all his money at poker again. Good game, guys!
What a team effort today. Talk about guys pickign each other up. I felt pretty good out there, glad I got a chance to start again. What a ninth, Youk beatin that throw then Loretta?! Man, that was an emotional win. Just got in from being out with the guys. I know it's ealry, but I was up quite early. My nerves woke me up at 6 this morning. So Youk, Becks, and I are just gonan chill out here. Stern might come over with Cora and Papel, as long as Youk's chick hides all her shoes we'll be fine. We need all of our eyes tonight, YOUK. NO SHOE THROWING! Ya, I'm a little (okay A LOT) buzzed but what do you expect? Uh ohhhhh, Youk just took out the Jewish Wine. We're in T-R-O-U-B-L-E. maybe I'll update more later, or maybe not. My girl is here and all... I'll have Youks chick remind me to update. She might be a little busy, Youk has some ENERGY tonight. He's still randomly doing the safe signal like he did in the ninth. Ha! I heard someone saying this today at the park when we had our whole meet and greet thing. I said "it's me" and laughed. I think I made the guy feel bad, but I thought it was funny. We had a good W today. Becks was on like usual. I can't say enough about that guy, he's intense. Oh and Bronson didn't have a homer today??? What's up with that? I don't have much more to say............ the party the other night was cool. I snuck into Youk's room and planted some pretty funny things to try and freak him out. I loved it when he got into his bed that night and goes "WHAT THE HELL??????" I thought he was gonna kick some ass. Serves him right for taping my toilet seat shut the night before! I'm excited for the game tomorrow. Got my girl here with me, def happy she'll be here for my start. I'm gonna chill out, maybe watch a movie. The girls rented some sappy movies and maybe I'll join them so I can fall asleep early. HAPPY EASTER/PASSOVER EVERYONE! Not sure what my fellow teammates who are Jewish do, but hey. Youk told me they have to drink every night through Passover, but I have a feeling he's lying. Stern, maybe you can give me the rundown on this. I got my chance, mom!
He kiddos, I'm up early this morning. For me anyway. I guess I just couldn't sleep. I got my chance to pitch last night and didn't do too bad. Although I was a ball of nerves. Those Jays have killer bats, man. Well, I'm thinking I'll be heading down to Pawtucket soon. It kind of stinks, but I'll get more of a chance to pitch and work on my stuff down there. I just love all the guys here and wish I could stay. My time will come. I thought for sure I'd be gone when Well's was activated, but with Riske not feeling well and all they decided to put him on the DL. I'm staying with Youk in the building. I was staying in the hotel but he talked me into staying with him so I can hang with all the guys. Stern's right, this should be interesting. The water balloon mess last night was funny, only until we both saw the look on Papel's face after he got hit. We booked it. Thankfully Youk has a girlfriend to go home to or else he'd be out all night causing trouble. I keep telling him he should come back on LJ and he thinks about it then starts talking about random shit. That's Youk for ya. Alright, well I'm gonna eat some Wheaties or something. I'm in the mood for some cookies, but there aren't any in sight :-( Where's sickforsox10 when you need her? Well, I'm hoping sickforsox10 is a female anyways. But you never know these days. Okay I'm rambling. Sweeeeeeeeeet Youk's chick is awake and gonna make me some breakfast. SCORE! She thinks it's funny I always call her Youk's chick, but I'm not ready to reveal her name on my LJ, even though you all know who she is anyway. To shave or not to shave?
Hey all. I know, what a dumb subject line, but I've been pondering the thought of shaving or not. The guys are making fun of me a little, but I'm digin' not having to shave every morning. What a great f'ing game yesterday. I'm pumped at just being a part of everything. Stern kicked some ass yesterday, along with Becks and Youk. Oh, and did I mention Papi is the man? Glad he's gonna be around for a while! Youk and I spent hours after the game moving our shit back in to the clubhouse. We felt like a bunch of girls with all the stuff we had. Wait, let me rephrase that- Youk felt like a girl. I felt like a manly man. I think I'm rambling. There's nothing else really going on. I'm just relaxing before heading to the park. I just called Youk to see if he wanted to go out for an early lunch, but I think he's "busy" if you know what I mean. I'm glad I didn't walk down the hall and knock on the door, damn those kids never stop! Where does the spaz get all his energy? Anyway, Bronson's calling. I gotta compliment his mad hitting skills. Hey all, it's been a crazy spring. I still can't believe my bro is gone:-( Speaking of, man you kicked our ass today. A bunch of us are celebrating our last night in FL. We still have 2 games in Philly this weekend, but we gotta tear up this town (AGAIN) before we leave it for good. This sucks
Too bad about Theo. This blows. What a great GM he was, some team is going to be very lucky to get him. Things are gonna be so different now, especially if the Sox hire someone older. I was drunk for 2 days straight, man. My party was a lot of fun. I can't believe I got Wakey as drunk as I did. Damn, I'm good. I gave him candy too so he wasn't mad at me anymore for eating all of Bronson and Aimee's good candy the other night. Youk's costume was so funny. That short skirt, tube top, heels, and blonde wig was just too damn much. I'm glad his chick supported it so much too, she did his frigin make up. Pink lipstick and Youk just don't go together, man. WOW. Well, I gotta get going. Youk and I both are dressing up as that freaky character on 'House of Wax' with the long black hair and mask. We watched it with his chick last night and she got so scared over it. And we're gonna scare her when she gets back here. She's gonna be FREAKED, man! LATA!
